Josh pointed out that the opening was smaller than standard, so a slider would only open 22″! We were happy he did, and very disappointed the other two companies had not. (this was our third estimate) We couldn’t even believe a 22″ opening would be code! So we had to rethink the door replacement and Josh had the perfect solution….fully functioning french doors with a retractable screen (that screens the whole opening). We LOVE our new doors and the screen. It’s our favorite part of the whole project. Ok now, back to the windows. Their first bid was a little higher than we wanted to pay (their premium line) so they suggested we look at the standard line. We did, and that’s what we purchased. It’s 103 degrees outside today, and the inside glass, of the windows, is cool. We are very pleased with the quality of the product and the noise reduction is a bonus (no more lawnmowers and barking dogs). The Viwinco brand is quality and made in the USA. The installation was seamless. Tim and his guys did a great job, inside and out. They cleaned up very well and hauled everything away.
